Dear Parent or Guardian,

Such interesting times we live in. As I reflect on them, I'm encouraged by opportunities we will have with our children, family members, neighbors, and strangers in the days, weeks, and months to come. Opportunities to share and show Christ's love in ways we might not ever have imagined.

 

Due to the nature of this viral threat, we have a prime opportunity to focus on the first mentioned - OUR CHILDREN. It is my desire to continue to teach your children "Sunday School" even though we can't meet. I miss them, so give them a smile and hug from me, (one for you too). I'm so excited to begin this journey. It will be in small steps, have patience. I'm comforted by the fact that God has us, Jesus loves us, and we can not be stopped.

God tells us in Deuteronomy 11:18-20: "Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to you children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door frames of your house and on your gates." God's word tells us to saturate our Children in Christ love, to teach them the ways of the Lord. YOU are the BEST person to do this for them!  Let's make this extra time with our children close to home an opportunity to strengthen them, build them, and connect them closer to Jesus, so when that time comes for them to be a light in this world, they are READY!
